Personalized Nutrient Health—Measurement, Evaluation and Action – Part 2

Summary: In 2007, Carole Baggerly was recovering from breast cancer treatment when she stumbled upon a website saying that vitamin D was important—even preventative for breast cancer. She saw a need to get this information out to the public and for additional research to determine the optimal levels of vitamin D for disease prevention. That year Carol created and became the founding director of GrassrootsHealth, a nonprofit public health research organization dedicated to moving public health messages regarding vitamin D from research into practice. In this 2-part interview, she discusses her organization, its current nutrient projects including vitamin D, omega-3 fatty acids and magnesium and how it can help you take control of your health.
